Overview
PLMEDS provides comprehensive mental healthcare for individuals and families. Our clinicians take time to understand each person's circumstances and build individualized treatment plans grounded in evidence-based practice.
Why it’s done
You may be referred to family mental health if you have:
- Family conflict and communication challenges
- Anxiety, depression, and mood disorders
- Adolescent and parenting concerns
- Grief and life-transition support
- Coordinated care alongside primary care or psychiatry
How to prepare
What to expect
Initial sessions run 50–60 minutes. We use evidence-based approaches including CBT, DBT, family systems therapy, and mindfulness practice — selected to fit you, not the other way around.

Results & follow-up
Treatment is reviewed regularly. Sessions are typically weekly to start, transitioning to less-frequent maintenance once goals are met. Coordination with primary care or psychiatry is offered with your written consent.
