Fardose Rana is an inspirational, ambitious, and dedicated clinical coordinator / Diagnostic Medical Sonographer with a BSC in Sonography and an MSC in Applied Psychology. Possessing an unmatched passion for patient care, Fardose provides quality service and employs a compassionate approach to her work. She keeps up with the latest developments in sonography technology, making her knowledgeable and competent in all areas of medical imaging including perinatology sonography. In addition, she applies her knowledge of psychology to develop therapeutic relationships with patients that foster trust and understanding. Fardose Rana, RDMS is an experienced and accomplished Diagnostic Medical Sonographer who has 20 years of experience in the field. From 2003-2021, she has delivered exceptional ultrasound services in perinatology (obstetrics), cardiovascular and general ultrasound exams (inpatient & outpatient) for multiple prestigious healthcare facilities including hospitals and ambulatory imaging centers. Her areas of expertise include High-risk Antenatal testing, First trimester screening, Anatomy surveys, Endovaginally ultrasounds, Serial cervical surveillance, Fetal Interval Growth evaluation, Biophysical profile, Maternal & Fetal Doppler studies, Genetic testing, Invasive procedures e.g. Amniocentesis and Chorionic villi sampling, 3D / 4D diagnostic ultrasounds as well as general and cardiovascular ultrasound exams. Her 2D & 3D / Glass body diagnostic technique research work in placental mapping to rule out placental invasion into myometrium known as “Placenta accreta, percreta and increta” was published in AIUM.
